Private: Valerie Davidson
About the Artist:
Valerie Davidson has been working as a jewellery designer and maker for 40 years, graduating from Sheridan College, School of Crafts and Design in 1984. Since then, she has been part of several cooperative studios and maintained her own home studio. Valerie has enjoyed teaching her craft at the Haliburton School of Art and Design, Art School of Peterborough, and has conducted many workshops for recreational students.
Working with sterling, gold, bronze, brass and copper, Valerie’s jewellery shows her love of texture, contrast, and clean lines. Her inspiration comes from all around. Shapes, patterns, and interesting connections, and the many celebrations, and tribulations in life that she helps commemorate with her work. Valerie works out of her home studio near Keene, Ontario.
