About the Artist:

“Over the 40 years that I have worked with clay, my interests and inspiration has come from a variety of sources. Architecture, design, and the landscape have been constant references in my work. The process of making an object in clay also plays an important role in my work. I try not to disguise the object’s creation but leave enough visual information for the viewer to reconstruct its making. The making and structure become important aspects of the esthetic of the object.”
