Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour

The Peterborough-Kawarthas region is rich with talented artists and craft makers practicing in a range of styles and media. From Stoney Lake to Keene, the Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour (KAST) offers the public a unique opportunity to get to know the talented artists practicing across the region and to view art in the working spaces of artists. Artists and makers get the opportunity to share their practice, connect with potential supporters, and promote their work.

As a cultural organization that deeply values the well-being of our community, the Art Gallery of Peterborough has been closely observing the development of the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that we take all reasonable measures to protect you, our staff, and the artists. It is our priority to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

As such, we’ve made some changes to the tour this year.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • The Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour has been extended to take place over the entire month of September, rather than a single weekend.
  • Select artist studios are OPEN to the public, by appointment only (instructions on how to book an appointment below).
  • Masks are required while visiting artist studios.

Please Note:

Artists reserve the right to turn away or refuse service to any visitors not in compliance with Public Health guidelines to their studios. Visits to participating artists on the tour are organized through each artist individually through the month of September. For those artists who are offering in-person visits to their studio, please note that each Studio Tour artist is managing their own OPEN hours and appointment bookings.

To Book an Appointment:

  1. Search through the artist profiles below and click on an artist whose studio you want to visit
  2. Find their contact information (telephone, email, etc.) located on the right-hand side of the page
  3. Call or email each artist directly to schedule a day and time to visit
  4. That’s it!

Please note: Artists listed under “Online” will not be scheduling visits to their studio, but you can see their work on exhibition at the Art Gallery of Peterborough!

Don’t forget to visit us at the AGP!

We are OPEN to public Thursday to Sunday between 11am and 5pm, by appointment.
