March 16 to 20, 2020

9 am to 12 noon for ages 4 to 7
1 pm to 4 pm for ages 8 to 11 camps

Monday March 16: Textile Arts
Experiment with yarns to explore stitching and loom weaving. Discover the range of creativity available in fibre arts. Make something practical or create a great art piece for pure fun.

Tuesday March 17: Animal Crackers
Try some animal art and create fun fantasy 3D animals with paper, pastel and paint. Lions fly and birds swim in this fun art camp.

Wednesday March 18: Me, Myself and I
Explore what makes you unique and express it in shape and colour with paper, pastel, paint and collage

Thursday March 19: Fields of Colour
Get inspiration from the AGP exhibition duet, featuring modernist abstract paintings. Let your paintbrush be your guide as you create bold, bright paintings.

Friday March 20: Printmaking Party
Learn printmaking techniques such as monoprinting, stenciling and stamping. Work on the Studio print press and incorporate watercolours and mixed media into your art prints.


General Information:

  • Drop off and pick up 15 minutes prior to and after camp times.
  • Supervision is provided 15 minutes prior to and following the program.
  • Please provide a nut-free snack, and a lunch for full day classes. Include a nut free logo
  • Guardians will be asked to complete a Health Information Form (download the form here) prior to the start of class
  • Dress for the weather: we may go outside, weather dependent.
  • Unless otherwise specified, the Art Gallery of Peterborough reserves the right to photograph all programs for future promotional purposes.


Refund Policy for March Break Camps:
Refund requests are accepted prior to camp start dates and are charged an administration levy of 10% of program fee or $5 minimum. Refunds are not provided once the program starts unless accompanied by a medical note approved by the program supervisor or Manager designate. Front line teams will refer the request to the program supervisor for approval and will take no action within the event roster or client account.
