Explore your creative side!
Saturday Art Club returns with an exciting new eight-week format! Designed for children ages 7–11, this hands-on program gives young artists the opportunity to build skills, confidence, and creativity over time. Each class introduces a new project and artistic process, allowing participants to explore weaving, mask-making, painting, sculpture, printmaking, comics, and more. Through ongoing exploration and experimentation, young artists will discover new materials, develop their techniques, and find new ways to express their ideas through art.

Fee: $280 | $252 AGP Members: Tier 3 and up
Week 1: Weaving in Colour October 17, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Discover the art of weaving while exploring colourful yarn and a variety of textures. Children will learn basic weaving techniques and create their own unique woven artwork.
Week 2: Halloween Bag Making October 24, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Celebrate the spirit of Halloween by designing and sewing a one-of-a-kind trick-or-treat bag. Children will explore simple sewing techniques while adding creative details to make their project uniquely their own.
Week 3: Character Design October 31, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Stretch imaginations through the exciting world of character design. Children will invent original characters, develop their personalities, and imagine the worlds they inhabit.
Week 4: Mark Making November 7, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Experiment with paint, brushes, and bold mark-making techniques while exploring colour, layering, and texture. Children will discover how different brushstrokes and painting techniques can transform an artwork.
Week 5: Embroidery Fun November 14, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Learn the basics of hand embroidery using colourful thread, fabric, and simple stitches. Children will design and create their own embroidered artwork while building confidence with this timeless art form.
Week 6: Teenie Tiny Objects November 21, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Shape, sculpt, and design unique keepsakes using polymer clay. From jewelry and ornaments to miniature décor, children will create handmade pieces that are perfect for keeping or gifting.
Week 7: Ink and Comics November 28, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Discover how line, expression, and movement bring stories to life. Children will experiment with ink techniques while exploring the fundamentals of comic illustration and visual storytelling.
Week 8: Printmaking and Decorative Illustration December 5, 2026
Instructor: TBC
Create original designs and transform them into repeating patterns through printmaking. Children will discover how decorative illustrations and printed designs work to bring life to everyday objects.
