Welcoming new Education Program Coordinator, Casandra Lee!

We’re pleased to welcome Casandra Lee to the Art Gallery of Peterborough as our new Education Program Coordinator 🎉

Casandra is a mother, educator, and artist who has been connected with the gallery in many ways over the years, most recently as an Art Educator in the AGP studio. A practicing visual artist and author, her work centres storytelling, inclusivity, and vibrant colour.

You may recognize her work from the 2023 ReFrame Film Festival, or from “Under an Apple Tree,” in the City of Peterborough’s public art collection at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre. Casandra is also the writer and illustrator of two children’s books, “The Sun Dance” (2014) and “Building a Home” (2021), commissioned by the New Canadians Centre.

We’re so happy to have her step into this role and continue building accessible, engaging art experiences for our community.
