Advanced Portfolio Development
Creating a competitive portfolio is essential for admission into post-secondary art programs, and it requires more than strong technical skills. A strong portfolio showcases intentionality, personal voice, and a cohesive body of recent work.
This workshop is designed for motivated students aged 15 to 18 who want to deepen their practice as they begin to prepare their portfolios to apply to college or university art programs.
With guidance from art professionals, participants will learn how to put their portfolio together, refine their existing artwork, develop new pieces tailored to portfolio requirements, and learn how to present and talk about their work. Through focused skill-building, critical feedback, and creative exploration, young artists will strengthen their conceptual approach to creating a portfolio.
Develop your post-secondary portfolio with mentorship from professional artists and learn how to curate your work that reflects not just your skill, but your artistic identity and ambition.
