Service Update: In accordance with the Province-wide shutdown, the Art Gallery of Peterborough will be closed to the public until further notice beginning Friday, April 2.

We ask all visitors to book their visit to the Art Gallery of Peterborough by calling us at 705 743 9179.

Each booked appointment will be 45 minutes long, for up to 5 visitors within the same “social bubble” starting on the hour. During your visit, you and your group will have exclusive access to our Exhibitions and Gallery Shop. Full COVID 19 Precautions are available by clicking here.

Open Hours:

  • Thursday: 11am to 5pm
  • Friday: 11am to 5pm
  • Saturday: 11am to 5pm
  • Sunday: 11am to 5pm

How to Book your Visit:

Please call the AGP at 705 743 9179 during our regular business hours to book your preferred date and time to visit. Appointments are available on the hour, Thursday to Sunday, between the hours of 11am and 5pm. Please note that we are unable to offer separate appointments to our Exhibitions and Gallery Shop at this time.

We will ask for your name, your telephone number, and the number of people expected in your group. The maximum number of people allowed in each group is 5.

Time slots are 45 minutes each, booked on the hour, with scheduled cleaning between visits.

When you arrive at the Gallery we will ask you to self assess using the screening questions posted at the front door. We ask that you stay home if you are feeling unwell or display any of the listed symptoms.

During your visit, you will have exclusive access to our exhibits and shop – meaning you and those in your group will be the only visitors in the Gallery alongside staff.

Admission

Admission is by donation. We have a donation box near the exhibition entrance for cash donations. Contactless donation options are available at the front desk for credit or debit, or by clicking here.

Accessibility

Accessible parking is available in front of the gallery on Crescent Street. We have automatic doors at our entrance, and our upper and lower levels are connected by a series of ramps. An accessible washroom is located on the main floor next to the Gallery Shop (no automatic door). Main floor washrooms are gender-inclusive.

We strive to be a scent-free facility: please help us keep the air we share fragrance free.

Please contact us if you have any questions or requests about your visit. To discuss an accessibility accommodation, please call us at 705 743 9179 or email gallery@agp.on.ca.
