The Art Gallery of Peterborough holds a number of works by Ivan Eyre in its Permanent Collection. Eyre is known for his paintings and sculpture which utilize highly complex spatial structures and fragmentations. Eyre was born in Saskatchewan, received his BFA from the University of Manitoba and subsequently taught painting and drawing there from 1960 – 1993.
