OAC Exhibition Assistance Program

The Art Gallery of Peterborough is a Zone 4 Recommender for the Ontario Arts Council’s Exhibition Assistance Program. This program supports Ontario-based artists and artist collectives working in visual arts, craft and media art practices in the presentation of their artwork in a confirmed public exhibition.

We accept and assess applications with set deadlines. You will be notified up to two months after the deadline date about an application. The OAC Exhibition Assistance Grant Program for 2024-25 is now closed, please visit the OAC website for any updates for the 2025 program.

Funding Priorities

• Artistic merit
• Significance of exhibition to the artist’s career
• Public impact of exhibition (including location and duration of exhibition)
• OAC priority groups and artists living within our catchment area
