Explore your creative side!
Does your child have an interest in art? Are they looking to explore new materials and techniques? Then join us each month for this exploration-based studio program. Gallery instructors will lead activities designed to support and develop your child’s artistic interests and talents, while taking inspiration from our current exhibitions.

February:
Mixed Media Portraits
Saturday, February 21, 2026
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Suitable for ages 7-11
Exploring different collage, drawing, and painting techniques children will create imaginative portraits inspired by modern artists that express and celebrate their individuality.
This is a registered program.
Fee: $35 | $31.50 AGP Members: Tier 3 and up
March:
Cardboard Masks
Saturday, March 21, 2026
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Suitable for ages 7-11
Designing and constructing expressive masks using layers of cardboard, children will learn how shape, structure, and embellishment can bring a character to life.
This is a registered program.

April:
Watercolour Landscapes
Saturday, April 18, 2026
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Suitable for ages 7-11
Children will learn basic watercolour techniques and apply them to paint colourful landscapes inspired by nature and their imagination.
This is a registered program.
Fee: $35 | $31.50 AGP Members: Tier 3 and up
Past Programs
Inky Illustrations January 24, 2026
Children will experiment with line, shading, and bold contrasts as they learn introductory inking techniques inspired by comics and illustration.
