Guided Tours and Workshops for Teachers and Homeschoolers
Based on our current exhibitions, we offer curriculum-linked exhibition tours with an interdisciplinary approach designed to stimulate curiosity and support a deeper understanding and appreciation of art. We are also happy to tailor your tour to meet your needs and connect directly to classroom projects. Exhibition tours can be held in-person or virtually and tours can also be combined with a hands-on studio workshop led by our education team.
Option 1:
Minds-on Activity and Tour
We begin with a minds-on activity to prepare your class for the exhibition tour. Laying the groundwork for the themes and ideas of the exhibitions. Tours are approximately 45 minutes in length, with time for questions and to explore the Gallery Shop and exhibition spaces.
Cost: $6/person (minimum 10 people)
Option 2:
Minds-on Activity, Tour, and Guided Workshop:
Build on your inspiration with a hands-on studio workshop led by our education team. These workshops teach fundamental techniques and explore the artistic practices of the artists presented and discussed on the exhibition tours.
Workshops are approximately 45 minutes in length, and vary based on exhibitions. We also provide virtual workshops that can be completed on the same day as the tour or scheduled for another day to fit your busy classroom schedule. Basic materials are provided.
Cost: $10/student (minimum 10 people)
