Celebrate your child’s next birthday with

the Art Gallery of Peterborough!

It can be a challenge to find unique and fun ways to celebrate your child’s birthday, but the AGP has come up with a fun, physically distanced way to celebrate together! Birthday packages from the AGP come with individual party kits for each child and access to a hands-on virtual art workshop, guided by an AGP art instructor!

Cost:

$150 for up to 8 children ($10 per child after that, to a maximum of 12).
AGP members get 10% off.

What’s included?

  • 1-hr guided virtual activity on your platform of choice (Zoom or Google Meet) – we will send a link to you in advance of the booking.
  • Material kits for each child*

Program Options:

Fun with Portraits:
Get loose and have fun by creating one-of-a-kind monster mashups and clay pinch-pot monsters, then make wacky felt portraits of ourselves.

Abstract Watercolours:
Learn how to marble paper and create your own wax-resistance watercolour masterpieces, then mix-and-match to create your very own abstract puzzles.

Custom Packages:
We can work with you to developed activities that cater to the interests of the party-goers or meet a specific theme. This option requires a minimum of 1-month advance notice to ensure instructor availability and materials.

Please Note:

  • Advance booking and pre-payment is required: Minimum 2 weeks for Sculpture and Watercolour; 1-month for Custom options
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for pick-up and distribution of the kits
  • Parents/guardians will need to supply basic household materials such as scissors, tape, glue, stapler, rulers, etc. as required.
  • Party-goers must have adult supervision while attending the virtual activity
  • A dedicated space to make art is required, as some activities may be messy
  • Parent is also responsible for any decorations, refreshments (cake, drinks, etc.) or additional party favours.
