The Art Gallery of Peterborough offers programs for children and families to suit a range of skills and interests! Explore our available programs below:
Art Together
Art Together is a caregiver-and-child program designed especially for ages 2-5. Through guided, hands-on activities, children will explore colours, textures, and simple art techniques alongside a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.
Art Start
Designed for children aged 4-6, this program offers fun, experimental activities and projects designed to foster an appreciation and excitement for art and art making from a young age.
Saturday Art Club
This hands-on program designed for ages 7-11 gives young artists the opportunity to build skills, confidence, and creativity over time. Each class introduces a new project and artistic process, allowing participants to explore weaving, mask-making, painting, sculpture, printmaking, comics, and more.
PA Day Programs
Our PA Day programs offer a studio experience for young artists ages 7-11 who are excited to deepen their creative skills.
Art Camps
We offer seasonal art camps for children throughout the year.
