“My work over the past few years has been focused on the natural environment. The tradition of landscape painting has a strong footing in Canadian culture and is of particular significance given the threats facing our natural world. Through the genre of landscape painting, I have created a variety of pieces from small/medium plein air paintings, to larger studio experiments, along with drawings and water colours.” – Peter Barron
