Erinn Brush
About the Artist:
Erinn’s current work explores the fear of the unknown. Our social environment is filled with the spectacular unknown; we attempt its negotiation through myth and routine. It is this variability that is both inspiring and awful. Physics tells us approximately 40% of our bodies’ atoms are made of stardust. We wouldn’t exist without those exploded stars. The truth is that all things in existence face an inevitable end. Even the fantastical can be remade into the mundane.
Through photography Erinn uses abstract imagery to explore the experience of the body and how it can be simultaneously grand and minute, familiar and utterly foreign
Erinn completed her Bachelors of Fine Arts at the University of Guelph. She has shown her work in Toronto, Stouffville, Guelph and Waterloo.
