About the artist:

Working with clay for over 20 years has been a wonderful journey for me. I am forever inspired by clay’s diversity in colour, texture, and form! I also draw inspiration from the natural beauty of my surroundings.

I have experimented with electric fired cone six glazes and have, more recently, introduced horse hair finishes with a white slip surface to my practice. Over the years, I have enjoyed getting outside with the elements, and smoke firing the ware in the ground, which creates decorative one of a kind pieces with organic hues.

My artistic style, often described as whimsical and organic in appearance, reveals my sense of humour and personality. I am an artist who creates with a combination of both art and function in mind.
