Private: Henry Gordon

Henry Melissa Gordon (she/they) is a proud member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Her family immigrated to Canada from South Africa when she was a child. Later she studied and worked in England for many years. Henry returned to Canada and graduated from the University of Waterloo, MFA (Studio art) program in 1999. She recently returned to a full-time art practice 5 years ago. Henry has resided for many years in the countryside and worked for a dozen years as a workshop presenter and life coach at a retreat centre near Bancroft, ON. She enjoys learning about people’s lives and perspectives and has a deep interest in altered realities.
