Private: James Ridyard

James Ridyard is a self-taught visual artist with an active studio practice in Peterborough Ontario. With a background in theatre and art history, Ridyard brings to the visual arts a dramatic interest in historical tradition and contemporary representation. His work has received critical media attention. Ridyard was the first artist in residence with the City of Toronto for Colborne Lodge Museum, High Park.
