Private: Kesang Nanglu
Kesang Nanglu (she/her) is a Tibetan-Canadian artist from Tkaronto/Toronto. Weaving together art historical conventions with personal photographs, her paintings find repeated motifs through which ordinary objects and scenes take on symbolic meaning to explore themes of cultural identity, wellbeing, and self-care. Nanglu holds a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from OCAD University.
