About the Artist:

Luke Despatie is an award-winning artist, graphic designer, and illustrator. His work has been recognized internationally in publications such as Applied Arts, Communication Arts, Low Tech Print (UK), and Unexpected Packaging! (Japan). He was named one of ten young designers to watch by Design Edge magazine and teaches Typography at the Fleming College’s Haliburton School of Art + Design. Luke has successfully transitioned to the world of landscape painting, most recently winning a the people’s choice award at Art Gallery of Northumberland’s annual juried show.
