Private: Michael Caines

Michael Caines’ active exhibition history includes frequent shows in public, artist run and commercial galleries in Canada and the United States. His most recent solo exhibitions include a booth at Volta NYC in March 2014, which was featured in the New York Times, and “The Golden Age” at Katharine Mulherin in Toronto. Caines has been selected for a number of artist residencies, including the Santa Fe Art Institute, the Millay Colony in New York, Jentel in Wyoming and The Bemis Center in Omaha. Among many awards, he has received Avery and Chalmers Fellowships. His book, Revelations & Dog, a graphic version of the Book of Revelation, was released in 2010. A ten year survey of his animal and human themed work, Wild/Tame, was exhibited at the Art Gallery of Peterborough in Canada from January to March, 2011.
