Private: Michael Vahey

Michael Vahey is an emerging artist, originally from Peterborough, ON, but now based in Omemee, ON. Michael works in traditional illustration and oil painting, and is also pursuing acrylic, watercolour, life drawing, and pen and ink. Michael creates pieces that speak of the beauty that exists in everyday subjects. Michael studied art in high school, and has recently completed a three year advanced diploma program studying Fine Arts at Durham College, Graduating with honors.

Michael has exhibited in numerous juried shows at galleries including, Station Gallery (Whitby), Robert McLaughlin Gallery (Oshawa), Durham College Juried Show, the Kawartha Artist Gallery in addition to a recent solo exhibition at the Station Gallery.
