Susan Fisher

Susan Fisher’s encaustic techniques include layering, texturing and fusing.  She incorporates photo images, textiles and printed word in her beeswax-based encaustic paintings.

Fisher writes, “For over 14 years, the richness and luminosity of encaustic (beeswax) painting has inspired my creativity. Using landscape as my main compositional inspiration, my work dwells on the countryside surrounding me.”
