William Joel Davenport utilizes high and low technology to develop initial sketches through multiple processes. Working in a variety of accessible materials, Davenport plays with texture, colour, and light. The resulting pieces explore language, mathematics, and iconography to create new abstract compositions that could only exist post-internet. Davenport has exhibited in Montreal, Toronto, and Peterborough.
