In-Between Worlds features a suite of Digital Chromogenic prints by Ottawa based artist, Meryl McMaster. The artist’s poetic exhibit explores, aspects of liminality, through the act of self performance photography, the mixing and transforming of bi-cultural identities (Aboriginal and Euro), of being betwixt and between histories, in which talisman and prop-like sculptures become extensions of the body. McMaster’s work comments on her personal heritage and her relation to larger, shared cultural histories.

Both Meryl McMaster: In-Between Worlds and Jimson Bowler: Muskrat Love (Zhusk Ode Min) support the school education program Bimaadiziwin-The Art of Living in a Good Way, exploring First Nations contemporary arts.
Available for one day, June 21, 2013

Bimaadiziwin-The Art of Living in a Good Way, is presented in celebration of National Aboriginal Day.

The gallery is OPEN Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am - 5 pm. Admission is always FREE!
