Capturing the subtle shift of the changing seasons in the Kawarthas, Peterborough artist Steven Vero applies a keen eye and skilled hand to convey the experience of working plein air. With his skilled hand, he is able to convey that slight chill in the air, the changing speed of the river ways, the stillness of the morning and the returning greens of spring. Vero is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and the University of Toronto. He began exhibiting in 1971 and his works are included in numerous corporate, public and private collections. Vero works in a range of media but is primarily an oil painter. Born in Budapest, Hungary, Vero immigrated to Canada in the mid-1950s.

Regular Hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is by Donation.
