About the Artist:

Patrick Moore is a visual artist and arts educator. A graduate of University of Guelph (BFA) in painting and printmaking. Patrick has extensive experience mentoring and educating young artists in primary and secondary school settings. He holds certification from The Royal Conservatory, Learning Through The Arts, Artist Educator Foundations course, and has been the recipient of numerous Ontario Arts Council grants for his specifically designed art projects with children and young people.

He is currently conducting a six month artist residency at Beverley School, a school which provides a structured, team approach to support special needs learners who have developmental challenges. He is past Chairman of the Board at Artspace, one of Canada’s longest running artist-run centres. Patrick’s practice involves working in painting, printmaking, sculpture and stage set design. His work explores the connection between individual identity and landscape.
