About the Artist: 

Christianna Ferguson is a felt maker with a full-time studio practice in Lakefield Ontario. Her work is distinguished by its colourful multi-layered surface design, and ranges from wearables and accessories to conceptual work, which examines the interconnections between human experiences.

Her passion for felt began during a year abroad in Western Australia where she joined a Felting Guild in 2012. She is the winner of the DHG Sculptural Felt Award a part Felt:Feutre Canada’s 2018 exhibition “Shrine.” Her work has been profiled in publications such as Fibre Art Now, FELT Australia, FELTMATTERS, Uppercase Magazine, and Worldwide Colours of Felt.
