About the Artist:

Peer Christensen studied Classical Oil Painting through the University of Victoria and has lived in Peterborough since 1985 where the artist maintains an active studio practice and exhibition schedule.

“I seek to create a sense of luminosity in my paintings with subjects ranging from commonplace objects, to rural, urban and industrial landscapes. My paintings explore the interest I have in presenting often unseen or un-noticed subjects, challenging the viewer to confront them as aesthetic landscapes.” – Peer Christensen
