Leanne Baird

Leanne Baird’s background in landscape design informs her art practice. After graduating from the Fine Art program at the University of Toronto, she continued on to study art in the U.S. and India. Leanne has exhibited at the Frederick Horsman Varley Gallery, the Agnes Jamieson Gallery, The Art Gallery of Peterborough, and Rails End Gallery & Art Centre.

“My landscape paintings are both a study of the physical and metaphysical. The earthly dimension and the unseen dimensions of light are a source for my creativity. I strive to depict the beauty and colour of our natural world infused with the multidimensional reality of light.”
